Energy Center Entrepreneurship Workshop is Aug. 11-12

An Energy Center Entrepreneurship Workshop Aug. 11-12 will provide research faculty and graduate students insights into commercializing their research, especially through startup companies. 

Experts will present talks titled “Identifying Opportunities and Value Propositions,” “Funding Your Startup” and more. Participants also will learn about presenting their research to nonexperts and have other opportunities for training and development. 

The free workshop, open to faculty and grad students who have worked on past or current Energy Center projects, is 9 a.m.- 5 p.m. Aug. 11 and 9 a.m.- 2 p.m. Aug. 12 at the Nebraska Innovation Campus Conference Center, second floor. During the first afternoon, coaches will be available for one-on-one help in preparing presentations. Lunch will be served both days. 

Co-hosts and partners are Innosphere Ventures, Nebraska Public Power District and NUtech Ventures. Participants must register by July 28
