Several upcoming National Science Foundation program deadlines have been extended because of planned downtime on nsf.gov, Research.gov and FastLane this weekend.
All NSF systems will be unavailable from 5 p.m. Sept. 17 until 4 p.m. Sept. 18. As a result, deadlines that originally fell on 5 p.m. Monday, Sept. 19 have been extended to 5 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 20, submitter’s local time:
- NSF 16-586: Letter of intent, NSF/Intel Partnership on Information-Centric Networking in Wireless Edge Networks (ICN-WEN) Letter of Intent Deadline
- NSF 16-562: Full proposals, Prediction of and Resilience against Extreme Events (PREEVENTS) Full Proposal Deadline
- NSF 16-532: Full proposals, Software Infrastructure for Sustained Innovation (SI2-SSE&SSI) Crosscutting Full Proposal Deadline
Full details on deadline changes are available on the NSF website. NSF downtime also will affect the Grants.gov production and training environments.
