Faculty who are developing grant proposals are invited to take advantage of a series of open writing and consultation hours from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. in Room 251 of the Prem S. Paul Research Center at Whittier School, 2200 Vine St., beginning Jan. 30.
“Crafting CAREERS at Paul Hall” provides faculty a quiet, out-of-the-way space in which to work during grant proposal development. During these sessions, individual consultations may be scheduled on specific topics to develop strategies and review resources that will strengthen grant applications.
The dates for open writing sessions and the specific topics for consultations are:
- Jan. 30-31: Narrative development
- Feb. 27-28: Graphic development
- March 26-27: Evaluation of broader impacts
- April 23-24: Budget development
- May 28-29: Data management plans
- June 25-26: Narrative development
Faculty are free to drop in and leave as their schedules allow for open writing hours; however, individual consultations must be scheduled in advance.
To schedule a consultation during these dates or for additional information, contact Ezra Stewart-Silver, proposal development specialist, at 402-472-1181.
