Nebraska researchers are invited to participate in an Aug. 7 event focused on making connections with Lincoln Public Schools science teachers and planning cooperative programs around science, technology, engineering and mathematics.

The annual event is 9:15-10 a.m. at the Wick Alumni Center and offers opportunities for researchers to share STEM education activities with more than 150 science teachers. Display tables will be provided for the first 20 teams that register.

The event’s coordinators are Julia McQuillan, professor of sociology; Judy Diamond, University of Nebraska State Museum professor and curator; and James Blake, K-12 science curriculum specialist, Lincoln Public Schools. For more information or to register, email Diamond.
