Registration is now open for the Biomedical Research and Healthcare Informatics Conference, Oct. 17-18 in Omaha, also available virtually.
The conference will be at the Truhlsen Event Center at the University of Nebraska Medical Center. Keynote speaker Robert Califf, commissioner of the Food and Drug Administration, will review challenges and opportunities in the era of big data, artificial intelligence and precision healthcare, from perspectives of ethics, safety, causality, decision support, the electronic medical record, disease surveillance and clinical registries.
Other speakers are planned, along with a clinical research showcase, poster competition and awardee presentations. The second day will feature a College of Medicine Research Retreat.
Attendance for the conference is available in person or via Zoom. Registration is required.
