Researchers, students, innovators and aspiring entrepreneurs are invited to save the date for the upcoming 2026 From Idea to Startup workshop, set for Aug. 5-6 at Nebraska Innovation Campus.
Hosted by NUtech Ventures, this workshop will explore entrepreneurship and commercialization with the goal of helping participants better understand how to turn their ideas into real-world impact. Throughout the workshop, attendees will hear from a variety of startup founders, business leaders and innovation experts from across Nebraska. Topics may include, but are not limited to, intellectual property, funding opportunities, startup formation and the broader entrepreneurial ecosystem.
From Idea to Startup will also offer opportunities for networking with innovators, campus researchers and other members of Nebraska’s startup community. All are welcome, as the workshop is designed for individuals at any stage of the entrepreneurial journey — including those who might not have a startup idea yet, but are interested in learning more about innovation and commercialization.
