The Division of Student Life is seeking faculty and staff volunteers to serve as reviewers of the Student and Community Health Grant proposals.
Faculty and staff from all areas of UNL are encouraged to volunteer. As the recipient of the inaugural We Give Blood Drive competition sponsored by Abbott, UNL is directing funds toward a variety of grants and initiatives designed to advance the health and well-being of students and the broader Nebraska community.
Faculty at all academic rank, including those early in their careers, are invited to volunteer. Staff members, particularly those whose work supports student success, are also encouraged to participate.
Faculty and staff who volunteer and are selected to serve as peer reviewers of the Student and Community Health Grants will:
- Obtain training and experience as a proposal reviewer.
- Network and collaborate with new faculty and staff colleagues.
- Gain insight into the wide range of expertise and well-being activities across Nebraska and UNL.
Reviewers should plan to commit about 12 hours during September and October. Faculty and staff may complete this form by Sept. 8 to indicate their interest in volunteering.
