A “From Idea to Startup” workshop is scheduled July 30-31 at Nebraska Innovation Campus. Faculty, postdocs, staff and graduate and undergraduate students are encouraged to attend.
The workshop will provide tools for aspiring entrepreneurs who want to start their own business. It will cover topics including idea validation, entity formation and funding a startup. Local business founders will discuss their entrepreneurial journeys, and guest speakers will share resources about intellectual property protection, business accelerator programs, grants and other support programs. There also will be opportunities to network with other campus innovators and experts from the Nebraska startup ecosystem.
