The deadline to participate in the 2025 National Science Foundation CAREER Club is Dec. 18, with a seminar scheduled Dec. 4 for faculty interested in the program.

The Office of Research and Innovation’s NSF CAREER Club is designed to support and guide early career faculty in the development of a competitive proposal to NSF’s Faculty Early Career Development Program. Next year’s CAREER Club program will run from January through July.

Activities include engagement with NSF program officers, mentoring/coaching from experienced administrators and staff, access to an external consultant, one-on-one guidance on developing education and outreach plans, and pre-submission expert external review.

Visit the NSF CAREER Club webpage to learn more and enroll.

R&I will host “How to Write a Competitive CAREER Proposal,” a seminar to help UNL pre-tenure faculty develop successful proposals for the NSF CAREER Program on Dec. 4. Those interested in participating in the NSF CAREER Club are encouraged to attend. The workshop will be 11 a.m.-2:30 p.m. in the Nebraska East Union, Prairie Suite. It is free and open to UNL faculty. Registration is required. The workshop includes a complimentary lunch.
