University of Nebraska-Lincoln faculty writing grant proposals that require a description of the facilities, equipment and other resources available to the proposed project are encouraged to take advantage of a new resource on the Office of Proposal Development website.

Facilities, Equipment and Other Resources provides easily accessible and up-to-date information on the university’s institutional environment, biomedical research centers and research core facilities. Faculty are encouraged to use this information to develop the facilities, equipment and other resources sections of grant proposals.

OPD developed this resource in response to faculty requests for accurate, centralized, institution-wide information to populate the facilities and equipment sections of National Institutes of Health grant proposals, though it can be used for applications to any sponsor. OPD staff will verify and update the information on an annual basis. Faculty, staff and administrators are encouraged to contact OPD any time with requests to include additional facilities or to update existing information.

For more information contact Tisha Mullen, director of proposal development, 402-472-2894.
