Victoria Molfese’s spring Nebraska Lecture, “Learning to Read: Making Sense of the Evidence,” is 3 p.m. Monday in the Nebraska Union auditorium, 1400 R St., with a reception following. For those unable to attend, the event will be webcast live here. The feed will be inactive until the presentation begins. Molfese, Chancellor’s Professor of Child, Youth and Family Studies and co-director of the Early Development and Learning Lab at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, will discuss her career’s worth of research on childhood reading, covering topics such as newborn language development, dyslexia and evidence-based interventions.
