Chemical hazard colloquium scheduled for April 12

Faculty, staff and students who work with varied and numerous hazardous chemicals, especially in laboratory settings, are encouraged to attend a colloquium on Chemical Hazard Assessment and Risk Minimization. The colloquium will meet from 11:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. Wed., April 12, at the Nebraska East Union and from 3:30-4:30 p.m. in Hamilton Hall, room 112. Participants may choose the time and location that fits their schedule.

Dan Olsen, a certified hazardous materials manager in Environmental Health and Safety at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, will present information on chemical hazard assessment and risk mitigation processes.

This event is part of the spring 2017 Environmental Health and Safety Colloquium series hosted by EHS and the Office of Research and Economic Development. Registration is not required.
