Green Schools summit at Nebraska Union
More than 200 people are slated to attend the Nebraska Green Schools Summit Friday and Saturday (Oct. 22-23) at UNL’s Nebraska Union. Friday speakers include U.S. Sen. Ben Nelson, U.S. Rep. Lee Terry and Gilbert Sperling, senior policy advisor with the U.S. Department of Energy. The summit focuses on strategies for making Nebraska schools more efficient.
