As the holiday season approaches, the Office of Sponsored Programs wants to ensure the university’s research administration needs are met efficiently and in a timely manner. OSP will be closed on Thursday, Nov. 27; Friday, Nov. 28; and Wednesday, Dec. 24 through Friday, Jan. 2. Normal operations will be paused, and staff will not be available to process requests during these times. To minimize the impact on your activities, please take note of the following deadlines and recommendations.
Key deadlines
To ensure timely processing of your requests, please submit all relevant documentation for the following services by 5 p.m. on the specified dates:
Nov. 21
- All proposals or post-award non-financial requests (e.g., budget revisions, no-cost extensions) due on Nov. 27, Nov. 28 or Monday, Dec. 1.
- Any post-award actions requiring attention during the holiday break.
- Inquiries regarding new awards or award negotiations.
- System-related requests, such as access needs.
Dec. 18
Any additional proposals, post-award actions, award inquiries or system-related requests due during the holiday closure from Sunday, Dec. 22 through Sunday, Jan. 5.
This lead time ensures OSP teams can review, process and submit your proposals and address requests well in advance of deadlines. If you have any last-minute needs, please contact the respective teams.
