Research Impacts 101, a workshop for faculty interested in enhancing the societal impacts of their work, will be held virtually on Sept. 18 from 3-4 p.m.
Hosted by the Office of Research and Innovation and presented by research impact coordinator Jocelyn Bosley, this workshop will introduce strategies and supports to aid faculty in developing research impact plans for proposals to the National Science Foundation, U.S. Department of Agriculture and other agencies.
Participants will: 1) understand the key components of effective impact plans; 2) discover examples of successful research impacts by faculty at UNL and elsewhere; and 3) learn how the concept of impact identity enables scholars to leverage their strengths and values to maximize the impact of their work.
