Research Compliance Services has created new informed consent templates for exempt human subjects research. Because exempt research is not subject to all of the regulatory requirements of informed consent, these templates are shorter and provide basic details for participants that can be communicated via various modes such as email, telephone or online surveys.
To fit the individual needs of each research project, multiple templates are available for exempt research. The templates are available here.
Various templates and template language for non-exempt research – such as expedited or full board – are also available on the website.
