Changes in IACUC Protocol

Once research or other use of animals has been approved by the IACUC, each investigator must notify the committee in writing of any planned changes to the use of animals in an ongoing project BEFORE proceeding with animal experimentation or use.

A brief Modification Form for Animal Protocols should be completed and submitted to via NUgrant to indicate any changes in:

• the numbers/species of animals to be used
• methodology, procedures or husbandry
• personnel
