2024 Grant Writing Seminar

The Office of Research and Economic Development is offering its annual Write Winning Grant Proposals seminar in-person on Friday, March 8, 8:30-5:00, at the Nebraska Innovation Campus Conference Center.  Registration and continental breakfast will be 7:45-8:30 a.m.

Faculty, staff and postdocs can select one of the seminar’s four workbooks, depending on the source from which they plan to seek funding: National Institutes of Health, National Science Foundation, U.S. Department of Agriculture, or a general version geared towards smaller funding agencies and foundations.

Registration is open. Participants who register before February 22 will be given their workbook at the seminar.  Those who register on or after February 22 will receive their selected workbook after the workshop.  You do not need the workbook to attend the seminar.

The seminar comprehensively addresses both practical and conceptual aspects important to the proposal writing process, emphasizing:

This seminar is free for University of Nebraska-Lincoln faculty, postdoctoral research fellows and university staff. Faculty from other University of Nebraska campuses may attend but will be charged $150 to cover seminar costs. Participants not affiliated with the University of Nebraska are welcome to attend and will be billed $200.
