Educational Psychology
As director of the Nebraska Center for Research on Children, Youth, Families and Schools and a George Holmes University Professor of educational psychology with a robust research program, Sue Sheridan has her hands full.
That’s why, at the peak of the center’s proposal-writing season, Sheridan and her colleagues count on the Office of Proposal Development (OPD) to help ensure nothing slips through the cracks.
“OPD staff members are well trained, and they remain calm and consistent throughout our crazy schedule,” Sheridan says.
OPD has helped the center by providing support for large-scale grant applications, in-depth editing of proposal narratives and assistance with graphics, she says. These efforts ensure Sheridan and her colleagues are submitting top-notch packages to funding agencies.
“OPD’s work has helped my individual efforts and those of the entire center,” Sheridan says. “They’re all the best.”
