We hope you and your family will join in the fun at the ORED Family Tailgate Party Picnic on August 28 to help kick off the 2013-14 academic year. Arrive at 4 p.m. for games and activities. Food service will begin at 5:30 p.m., and the picnic will formally end at 7 p.m.
- The picnic will be in the Auld Pavilion in Antelope Park, the large building due south of the children’s play area.
- Again this year, you can enter the ORED Bake-Off. Just bring a home-made dessert, labeled with the name of the dessert and your name, too. The rest of us will be the judges.
- We’ll also have plenty of games and activities for the whole family, including cookie decorating, pennant and pom-pom making, face painting, a football toss and a photo booth. Wear red!
- Food will be catered by Phat Jack’s. Vegetarian and gluten-free options will be available. A special kids’ buffet also will be provided.
