    Staff Senate Updates
District 7 Staff Senate Open House:   Interim Vice Chancellor Jennifer Nelson will provide a brief research and federal funding update at District 7 Open House Wednesday, April 15. The event will be 10-11am at Nebraska Union’s Chimney Rock Room and on Zoom at go.unl.edu/district7.
Elections: District 7 has one vacant seat in this year’s election. Review the candidates https://staffsenate.unl.edu/staff-senate-election-candidates-district-2026/#district7  and vote by Friday, April 10, with your unique email ballot link.
Awards: The 2026 Staff Senate Awards nomination deadline has been extended. Nominate a staff member https://staffsenate.unl.edu/staff-senate-recognition/ by Wednesday, April 15.

    Farewells
