Attendance to this event is free and open to the public; all are welcome! Registration is not required for attendees.<\/em><\/p>\n The Undergraduate Poster Session and Creative Exhibition\u00a0provides undergraduate students the chance to showcase their research or creative activity, to communicate their results to others, and to learn about other areas of research and creative activity. Students do not have to be in Undergraduate Creative Activities and Research Experiences (UCARE)<\/a> program to present; all undergraduates are welcome. However, if you are enrolled in UCARE, presenting your research is an expectation.<\/i><\/b><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n Register to Present Your Poster<\/a> Space is limited for poster presentations; if registrations exceed capacity, preference will be given to juniors and seniors. Additional communication to registrants about the session(s) will be sent by Friday, March 20, 2026.<\/p>\n Communications to registrants regarding the session will take place via the e-mail address you provide when you register. The e-mails will go to a large number of participants, so please be prepared to check your \u201cjunk\u201d or \u201cbulk\u201d mailboxes.<\/p>\n If you have questions or would like more information, please contact Kali Patterson<\/a>.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n You can choose to participate in a competition on the event registration form. The university colleges, the Office of Undergraduate Research and Fellowships, and the University Honors Program will host a poster and exhibit competition that will provide students, whose work is deemed outstanding by judges, an award. At the event, judges will visit your poster or exhibit and you\u2019ll present your research or creative activity for them to evaluate. Your attendance\u00a0for the entire<\/span> poster session and creative exhibit is required for participation in the competition.<\/b><\/p>\n Presentations will be judged on the following criteria:<\/p>\n HONORS STUDENTS<\/strong><\/p>\n University Honors Students participating in Student Research Days are eligible for the following awards:<\/p>\n Questions<\/strong> regarding the content and development of your specific poster or creative exhibit should be addressed to your faculty mentor.<\/p>\n Posters <\/strong>should be based on the research or creative activity you\u2019ve worked on over the past year or summer. Standards of the entries are expected to be at the level that is common at regional and national conferences.<\/p>\n Creative exhibitions<\/strong> may include video or visual art exhibits. Please note your display needs during registration, and we will contact you directly to discuss available options.<\/p>\n Presenters will be given a space roughly the size of a 6-8\u2019 table. A table can be provided, and other resources may be available.<\/p>\n A limited number of TVs will be available<\/strong> for electronic materials or creative displays.
