2024 Employee Wellness and Community Resource Fair<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

The 3rd annual Employee Wellness and Community Resource Fair will return to campus on October 22nd, 2024 from 8-11:00 a.m. CST at the Coliseum on City Campus. UNL Staff Mentorship Program – Applications open<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

The Nebraska Today Announcement<\/a> for the 2024-25 UNL Staff Mentorship program was published and applications are open. Click Here to Apply<\/a> by September 6.   

If you are not able to serve this year, please consider sharing this program with a colleague who you think would make a great mentor and encouraging them to apply.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

#NCLUDE Small Group Registration Ends today<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

#NCLUDE<\/a> (Nebraska Community of Learners – Understanding Diversity through Education) will continue as planned for the Fall 2024 semester.  #NCLUDE groups remain a critical space for faculty, staff, students, and community members to gather and engage in informed self-reflection and everyday action.

Congratulations Animal Care Program team!<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

The American Association for Laboratory Animal Science (AALAS) sets the standard for training of laboratory animal technicians and support staff. They have three tiers of certifications that test an individual’s knowledge of IACUC regulations, laboratory animal care, research and surgical procedures, ethics and more. The Animal Care Program set forth a challenge to all eligible staff to pass an AALAS certification exam by the end of summer and they delivered! Every single person that was eligible studied hard and successfully passed their exam! Here are the most recent accolades:
