In total, I have eight years of experience with UNL. My roles have included Grants\/Finance Specialist in the Natural Resources Business Center (IANR) as well as a Youth Development Extension Educator in western Nebraska (North Platte and Oshkosh). In between my UNL experiences, I moved back to my hometown of Santa Rosa, California and managed the competitive exhibits program for Sonoma County Fair (think judging of wine, livestock, quilts etc.). In my free time, I&#8217;m enjoying reacquainting myself with Lincoln (I am a UNL graduate: BS Agriculture Economics and MS Leadership Education). He was elected by NORDP&#8217;s members to serve a four-year board term beginning in 2021. In 2022, Nathan was unanimously selected by NORDP&#8217;s 15 other directors to serve as the organization&#8217;s vice president\/president elect (2022-2023), president (2023-2024), and immediate past president (2024-2025).<br><br>NORDP is a professional organization dedicated to advancing the global capacity for and impact of research by strengthening the practice and profession of research development.
