OPEN is the Office of Research and Innovation’s initiative, designed to extend professional development opportunities to R&I staff members and foster community engagement among all office units.
OPEN stands for the O<\/strong>rganizational P<\/strong>rofessional E<\/strong>ngagement and N<\/strong>etworking.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

OPEN’s Mission<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

To foster an environment where R&I is a supportive, innovative and fulfilling place to work on campus. OPEN aims to align learning and relationship building opportunities with the needs of employees and satisfy R&I’s clients.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    R&I Communication and Connection<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

    OPEN Forum<\/em><\/strong> is a quarterly meeting for all R&I staff; it’s an opportunity to gather with colleagues, have fun, and learn about important aspects of the work we do. Sharing kudos about your colleagues is tradition at each OPEN Forum.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    OPEN<\/strong> Book<\/strong><\/em> is a monthly electronic newsletter that highlights upcoming activities, office news, and accomplishments.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    OPEN Note<\/em><\/strong> is an email that is sent as needed to share important information with the staff.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    OPEN Website<\/em> <\/strong>is an internal resource for all R&I employees.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
