Mr. Keene joined the Public Finance Department at Ameritas Investment Corp. in 1999, after 11 years with U.S. Bancorp Piper Jaffray and its predecessors in Lincoln. He graduated from Carleton College in Northfield, Minnesota, and has an MBA with an emphasis in finance from the University of Nebraska–Lincoln. Mr. Keene manages the financings for a number of issuers, including the City of Lincoln, Lancaster County, the University of Nebraska, the State of Nebraska and Lincoln Public Schools. He has 21 years of experience in the structuring and issuing of tax-exempt and taxable bonds for issuers across the state.
