He came to UNL in 2012 from Indiana University-Purdue University Fort Wayne, where he was dean of the College of Visual and Performing Arts. Previously, he held an administrative role at the Nevada Conservatory Theatre at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, and was a UNL professor. O\u2019Connor\u2019s interests lie in the changing role of arts in higher education. He has led successful fundraising, program development and community partnership activities.
