At UNL, discoveries, knowledge and new technologies grow from great ideas for addressing today’s complex challenges. Producing enough food with limited water supplies as the world’s population almost doubles in the next 40 years is one of the most critical of these challenges. The University of Nebraska’s new Water for Food Institute is a global research, education and policy analysis institute committed to innovative solutions that will help the world sustainably grow more food using less water.
