Community-campus networking event is April 24

“Community-Campus Connector,” an inaugural event designed to give UNL’s research community an opportunity to network with community- and campus-based organizations, is April 24, 11 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., in the Nebraska Union. Registration by April 17 is required.

The event, sponsored by the Office of Research and Economic Development, is an opportunity to learn about best practices for developing education, research and outreach partnerships. Lunch is included.

The Community-Campus Connector will bring together representatives from more than 25 community and campus groups to discuss their organizations’ diverse missions and how they may align with UNL’s external funding goals. Increasingly, public and private funding sponsors require applicants to demonstrate they have built strong outreach partnerships and collaborations that may lead to tangible societal impacts.
