Gene White is acting attending veterinarian

Gene White, an emeritus professor of veterinary and biomedical sciences, is serving as acting attending and clinical veterinarian for UNL.

White brings extensive experience to his role. He previously served as veterinarian for UNL's Institutional Animal Care Program and led earlier efforts to develop guidelines for animal use at UNL.

"Dr. White's expertise as a veterinarian and veterinary research scientist and his familiarity with UNL are serving us well," said Don Beermann, director of the IACP.
