NURAMP workshop info coming soon

The NURAMP (Research Administration Management Program) workshop series will be offered again in spring 2012. Dates and details will be available on the NURAMP website the first week in February.

Basic workshops include an introduction to research at UNL; strategies for working with the Office of Sponsored Programs to prepare and submit proposals; requirements for developing proposal budgets; aspects of the responsible conduct of research; and procedures for administering awards. Topics for elective sessions will include preparing Personnel Activity Reports (PARs), export control policies at UNL, managing contracts, and using and other electronic proposal submission systems.

Participation is free and open to all UNL faculty, postdocs, graduate students and staff who are engaged in research or support research activities.

In addition, several short, narrated e-modules addressing a variety of research administration topics are available in the NURAMP e-Learning Library. The e-modules can stand alone but are most effective when viewed in conjunction with participation in the NURAMP workshop series.

NURAMP is a comprehensive education program focusing on research administration management sponsored by the Office of Research and Economic Development.
