ORR Current Initiatives

Responsible Conduct of Research

A central focus of the Office of Research Responsibility is to foster the responsible conduct of research and provide support for University of Nebraska-Lincoln faculty, staff, and students in these endeavors through training, education, and consultation. Regarding the responsible conduct of research, ORR staff are available to:
  • Conduct training and/or make tailored educational presentations to faculty, staff, and students.
  • Provide consultation on specific issues.
  • Develop and/or assemble materials for use in courses and other academic venues.
  • Act as a liaison and resource to the federal government, agencies, and professional societies.

Educational Modules - E-Seminars - via CITI, the same site uses for it's IRB education

Responsible Conduct of Research internet-based e-tutorials on the RCR core areas are now available through CITI. The courses that are available currently include:
