Frontiers in Laser Research Workshop

The workshop is designed to: 1) showcase UNL's capabilities in leading-edge laser research and applications relvant to defense and national security, 2) to allow UNL investigators to learn about Department of Defense and Department of Homeland Security needs and priorities, 3) to explore how UNL, DoD and DHS can partner to strengthen national defense.

The workshop will include presentations by UNL researchers and DoD and industry representatives; tours of UNL's Extreme Light Laboratory, featuring the Diocles Laser, UNL's 150-terawatt, ultra-fast, high-intensity laser, and other laser laboratories; and opportunities for one-on-one meetings of program managers with UNL researchers.
