Panel session will feature:

Jon Anderson, Director of Research & Development - Biotechnology, LI-COR Biosciences, will discuss LI-COR's strategic use of SBIR/STTR grants and contracts to advance discovery and their products, and share the industry perspective on proposal competitiveness, and academic collaboration.

Chris Calkins, Founder, Goldfinch Solutions, and UNL Professor of Animal Science, will share his experience as a small business grantee, balancing his faculty role with his startup role, and utilization of Nebraska resources to enhance Goldfinch's SBIR competitiveness, and to leverage additional funding.

Michael Sealy, UNL Assistant Professor, Mechanical and Materials Engineering, and Founder, Surface Integrity, will discuss his multiple experiences as an academic research partner to SBIR/STTR-funded companies, as well as his experience as a STTR grantee, via his startup company, Surface Integrity.
