Applications are being accepted for the University of Nebraska-Lincoln’s Executive Vice Chancellor Faculty Fellow program.

The program is open to full-time faculty. Fellows receive training and help to deliver departmental workshops, starting with a session on free speech and academic freedom.

For each topic, fellows receive a PowerPoint presentation and written materials to use as they partner with campus leaders to deliver training to university departments.

Up to 10 Executive Vice Chancellor Faculty Fellows will be selected. Each fellow will be responsible to conduct six to eight training sessions. The program’s first “train the trainers” session, which is required for all selected fellows, is 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Feb. 20.

Faculty fellows will receive $1,000 for participating upon the completion of at least six departmental workshops. Compensation can be in the form of a one-time payment or a professional development allowance.

To apply, submit a one-page letter of interest along with a curriculum vitae via email to executivevcoffice@unl.edu. The deadline to apply is Feb. 5.
